Spouse settlement visa & child dependent visa extension

Post by ilrmumbai » Tue Jan 30, 2018 12:22 pm

Hi All,

I am on ILR since 2013. My wife Spouse settlement visa is expiring on 29 Oct 2018.

I am earning £26000 in a full time permanent job. Also I am self employed earning around £1200-£1300 per month since Sept 2017. But I haven't registered as self employed yet with HMRC.

I would appreciate if guru's can clarify my below concern:

How many days before I can apply for extension?
Can I just show my employment income only?
do I need to just show last 6 months pay slip? Can I show pay slips from May-Sept 2018 & apply in the mid of Oct 2018?
We are currently living in a Studio Flat. Do I need to show One Bedroom tenancy agreement? My daughter will be 4.5 years in Oct. Also I will have a baby in June. So we will be 4 people in total.
I am claiming Child Benefit under my name & Child Tax Credit under joint name with my wife. Do I need to mention this on application from? Also would this affect her visa extension?

Thank you in advance

How many days before I can apply for extension?
On what date did she enter the UK with her spouse visa?
Can I just show my employment income only?
Yes.
do I need to just show last 6 months pay slip? Can I show pay slips from May-Sept 2018 & apply in the mid of Oct 2018?
The most recent payslips must not be older than 28 days.
We are currently living in a Studio Flat. Do I need to show One Bedroom tenancy agreement? My daughter will be 4.5 years in Oct. Also I will have a baby in June. So we will be 4 people in total.

Mention it. No it won't affect her visa.

Thank you CR001,

They received visa from 29 Jan 2015. Entered UK on 05 Feb 2016.

I will then send 6 months pay slips. Application in Mid of Oct 2018. Last payslip for Sept 2018.I guess this will be fine?

Also as per gov.uk website my family will be considered as 2.5 adult. So I guess I need to show 2 bedroom flat? Or 1 bedroom in enough? I am bit confused on this matter?

I will appreciate your advise?

Thank you.

spouse visa extention

Post by ilrmumbai » Thu Mar 08, 2018 2:04 pm

Hi All,

My wife's spouse visa & daughters dependent visa is expiring on 28 Oct 2018. I am eligible to apply under CAT A. As I am with my current employer since Sept 2017 & will be with them hopefully until end of 2018.

Also I am exceeding the Earning requirements.

If I take my payslips from April- Sept 2018. Would this be enough? I am on £26000 annual package.

Salary is consistent the same amount every month.

If I apply in the 1st or 2nd week of Oct, would this be fine? My Sept payslip will be exact for 28 days from the visa expiry date?

I have read last payslip should not exceed 28 days. But I am unclear 28 days from visa expiry date or date of application?

Dear Gurus please help.

Many thanks

As you are already aware that latest payslip and other necessary documents shouldn't be older than 28 days. Therefore, even if you will apply on 28th day then still it should be acceptable. However, optionally you can mention about that rule and how it applies in your case may precisely mention in additional info section so that caseworker don't get confuse as well.
