Yes, that is the only way it will work and you will have to meet all the same requirements for sponsorship again.would it be possible to terminate my visa and reapply for one in a years time so I can take my career break? I understand there is a 12 months cooling off period. Would this work?
Thanks for that. Does terminating my visa mean that my current employment contract would be terminated? Or could my employment contract be ongoing without my visa but I won't be doing any work whatsoever for my company until my new visa is reissued? It would be a pain if I had to go through the interviews and HR admin things again.CR001 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 19, 2018 3:26 pmYes, that is the only way it will work and you will have to meet all the same requirements for sponsorship again.would it be possible to terminate my visa and reapply for one in a years time so I can take my career break? You have to apply for a Tier 2 visa extension, paying the visa fee and IHS fees. RLMT not required if there is no change to your job and SOC.
