Spouse Visa IHS Charge

Post by muhawais » Tue Apr 03, 2018 6:37 pm

Hi
I have filled in the application for spouse visa (2.5 Years) from Pakistan.
When i go to the section "PAY for IHS" i am being asked to pay app 239000 PKR which is equivalent of £1467 as per google rate of GBP/PKR of Today. But i am confused that i am trying to pay for IHS charge and i am being asked to pay for this amount which surely is not the IHS charge. In the description it even says IHS charge.

Has someone who recently applied had this issue?

Have they changed the way it uses to be that there was a separate payment for IHS surcharge and separate payment for application fee?

I am stuck so will appreciate any help on this.

It should be £600.

What is your immigration status in the UK?

She should apply alone.

If you have put in your ILR expiry date (presumably December 2024), adjust the date for 3 years from now.

In addition of croo1 advise, you also keep in mind that HO convert pound sterling into other currency at it's own higher rate of exchange than market.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

Do i need to enter this?
I know that the question says that you don't need to answer this question if your partner is British or EEA national.

What other people who had ILR did with this question?

You have said correctly that i have entered December 2024. How did you guessed it? 3 years for Spouse and 4 years after 3 years totals 7 years and the charge is app 1400? is that how you worked out?

Many Thanks
