Hi people I’m in need of help urgently!!!
Short story of my background
Born in the UK in 1986 parents didn’t have British status only visiting visa in 1983. Things were difficult for them in the U.K. so my dad and mum decided they’re moving back to Cameroon. In doing so they decided to leave me with my guardian who was my mums best friend, I was 9 years old at the time.
My guardian brought me up, my biological mum visited from Africa 3 - 4 times a year. I was aware that I was born in the Uk at kings college hospital, with a birth certificate Proving so. I’ve never owned a passport nor travelled out of the country, I’ve always classed myself has a British citizen.
I schooled here went to university, worked I have NI number along with a full Uk driving license.
Long story short, i went to jail for false representation I got 3 years. Upon my release from prison, I was visited by someone from HO saying there’s been a deportation order for me. This was news to me, has I was able to work outside the prison 5 days a week while in prison. Has a D-cat prisoner, you can’t work outside if you’re not British.
I was held for a week, I was given bail from the bail judge had to sign once a week at Croydon immigrantio centre. We appealed the deportation under human rights also Family ties, Fast forward 9months I received a letter from FT explaining a date as been set for a judge to review my case.
Myself and my partner who I’ve know for 10 years met at uni, we have a beautiful daughter together. We went in I was interviewed she was interviewed, the interview went well has we both said the same thing. A month later my solicitor received a letter saying judge refused my appeal reason I’m a danger to the public. I had a letter in evidence from my probation officer stating mr xxx is no longer a danger to the public also low risk of reoffending.
It’s was a shock to my girlfriend has she’s 7months pregnant at the time we were both interviewed at court.
We appealed to UT, we were granted stating error of law from FT judge. I’ve been given a date for oral hearing, I’m scared my girlfriend is panicking.
Can anyone pls help!!!
