Hi All,
I wondered if anyone could provide some guidance please.
My partner is due to apply for his ILR 5 year route using the SETM forms. If he (the applicant), meets the financial requirement, do I (his sponsor) have to include my salary details (I am self employed and they seem to ask for a lot of information, I am just worried about missing some documents). So t cut out the hassle, I wondered whether his income would be enough alone and do I still need to put my financial earnings in the application?
He earns £25k per year and is able to produce the payslips (6 months) and bank statements (1 year). Can we just include his salary and not mine in the application?
Thanks for your help!

You have posted a Set(M) ILR question in the Tier 5 visa sub forum with a subject heading of relating to Tier 5.
Kindly advise what visa your partner is currently on and how long they have been on this visa?
What is your immigration status in the UK?

Hi, Thanks for responding. My partner is on a spouse visa on the 5 year route. He has now completed 5 years and is applying for ILR using the SetM forms. Please let me know if you need any further information from me.

We aren't sure whether we need to provide both of our income details, if his alone meets the requirement.
The reason I don't want to include mine (as his sponsor), is because I am self employed and the paperwork required for my income is confusing and I don't want to make things more complicated than they need to be. If we can just use his and keep the income details for me, blank, would this be ok?
I am able to provide banks statements showing my savings of just over £16k.

You can use only your partners income to meet the requirement.
p.s. I have moved your topic to the ILR sub forum (where it is now).

Phew, Thanks so much for your help.
Also, do you know if we need to supply 6 months pay slips and 6 months banks statements? or do the bank statements need to be for a full year?

Hi All,
I am currently looking at the application form for the ILR SET(M) spouse visa, 5 year route.
I have a couple of questions I was hoping someone would be able to help me with:
1. The form asks for whether fingerprints have been taken and if so, where and when.
I had my fingerprints taken when I was abroad (which I have the details of), but I then had fingerprints taken again when I applied for the FLR. The FLR prints are the most recent and were taken at a post office (and I subsequently received my biometric card). The form asks for a date and location, however I cannot remember the date the fingerprints were taken at the post office (here). It is ok to write the months i.e. Jun/Jul or should I revert back to the information of the the place/dates the first prints were taken?
2. I did my IELTS test abroad (6 years ago). Is it ok to provide these details again or do I need to take another test?
Thanks for any guidance you are able to provide.

i think this is ok. But I can actually track back by bank statement as I paid by debit card.

you need to take the test again, if you didn't use it for your previous visa application before.
Thanks for any guidance you are able to provide.

I used the IELTS that I took before for the FLR form. So can I still use this?
Also, my partner only has the computer printouts available for the payslips. Is this acceptable if we provide the prints with a letter from the employer?

You need IELTS B1 for ILR and it must be from a test provider that is on the current HO approved test provider list.
