Hi all

They said i needed ielts to matchc the english CEFR rating of A1 but i submitted my university degree taught in english and german equivalent to C1 (master level)

Can i appeal?ir re-apply? They also said sponsor didnt submit 6 months wages slips and he did!!
Im so annoyed now i have to do ielts.

Anyway, its been a week and they have returned only my docs to my sponsor. Just my degree, birth certificate, personal statemets etc.

All our other stuff have not been returned!!!

Im scared..as there is the original marriage certificate, original land registry etc.

Please can someone help i dont know what to do.

If your degree is a foreign degree, you need UKVI Red Route NARIC ELA and comparable assessment. Costs about £150.

Can you list the exact wording of the refusal taking out personal details?

Can you list the exact documents submitted?

Was your partners pay the same every month?

Hi

Yes his pay is the same everymonth except when he does over time. He earns 45,000 pounds a year.

They said that they found some payslips but not the ones covering the previous 6 months. Which is rubbish!! His payslips are now electronic so he printed them off could that be why? If so why didnt they mention that they were copies?

Im thinking of re-applying but i need the rest of the docs back. Why have they only sent a bit of them and where is my marriage certificate?we also need the land registry which is original document.

I dont understand why they would send through just a small amount of documentation even though we paid for postage to be returned?

Can you advise me please

Thanks

IELTS A1 or B1 spouse visa?

Post by Benzemnan90 » Sat Jun 16, 2018 7:46 pm

Hi All

I have been refused a spouse visa due to not getting my degree naric certified or doing an ielts.

In refusal letter says it has to be at least an A1 CEFR. I have read everywhere that it has to be A1.

Im applying from abroad and online sending supporting docs to spouse in uk to submit.

I have read a few on here in the forum say it has to be b1?

Can someone please clarify?i have already booked the life skills a1 test at end of month.

Thanks

Yes, because it's higher than A1 level. However, the requirement is only for A1 for a Spouse entry visa.
