SET (M) documents to show

Post by q786 » Fri Jun 08, 2018 9:02 am

Hi, I am applying for SET M under the 5 yr route.
I am confused by how many months proof I should show.

EG- Should I show 6 months bank statement or 2 years
For other documents should I show 5 yrs documents, 2years etc.
Like I have a P60, should I show for all 5 years, 2years or just the recent one

Thanks

Hi There,

I recently applied and received my ILR under the 5 year spouse visa. My question is do I need to wait 12 months to apply for naturalization or can I do it now?
I have seen many answer saying yes and no, So i was hoping for a definite answer please?

So then your last application to the Home Office was roughly 2.5 years ago when you extended your spouse visa on form FLR(M) after the first 33 month visa in 2013, correct?

With no posting history on the forum or details of your UK immigration history, it is difficult to offer accurate advice.

So which route for ILR are you planning, Set(M) 5 years residence or ILR based on 10 years long residence in August (less documents for this route)??

What is the exact date you got your first spouse visa within the UK in 2013??

SET (M) Absent from UK question

Post by q786 » Mon Jun 18, 2018 12:18 pm

Hi,
On the Set (M) form (5 year) spouse route there is a question on absence from the UK.

Do I state absences for the full five years being married or for 2.5 year?

Thanks

Absences for the full 5 years. ILR is based on 5 years residence, not the last 2.5 year visa.

Also, please keep ALL your questions on the same application in ONE topic (this one). See Multiple Topics/Posts (click)

I'm still uncertain on the document to show.
Full 5 year documents or 2.5yrs?
Bank statements, should I show just 6 months or 6 months and random ones for 2.5yrs?
Is my daughters birth certificate classed as a joint name document as it has both our names?

Full 5 year documents or 2.5yrs?
Cohabitation documents for last 2.5 years.
Bank statements, should I show just 6 months or 6 months and random ones for 2.5yrs?

6 months only.
Is my daughters birth certificate classed as a joint name document as it has both our names?
Not really 'cohabitation' but you can use it to show 'family unit'.
