UK Family Spouse Visa Renewal Query Regarding Bank Statements and Pay Slips

Hello All,

I came to the UK in November 2015 on a Spouse Visa based on my husband's British passport. The visa expires on the 28th August, 2018. I am planning to renew my visa using the Same Day Premium service.
It says in the website that the earliest i can renew my visa is 28 days before the visa expires. Since appointments in August are scarce, i called the Home Office visa section and they said it is ok to renew your visa earlier at your own risk but they cant provide more information.

How much earlier than 28 days can i book my appointment using the premium service?

I am based in london and there are appointments in July at the Croydon office and it would be of great convenience if i can attend an appointment there. Please let me know the answer to the highlighted question.

You can apply for an extension at any time, but you must remember that if you apply too early, you will end up with a shortfall and require an additional extension to cover a few weeks to before you can apply for ILR.

Your 5 years residence clock starts from the date you entered the UK.

Your new visa will be from date of approval. It is not 'tagged onto' the end date of your current visa.

Hello All,

My current visa expires on August 28th, 2018 and I have booked an appointment to renew it on 2nd August, 2018 at the Croydon Premium Service centre.

I had a few queries regarding payslips and financials -
1. I am going to show only my financials as i comfortably fulfil the minimum income requirement. I get paid on or before the last working day of the 28th of every month.
We usually download our payslips from the company's portal. Is it necessary that I get the downloaded payslips authorized by my company HR.?
2. I bank with an online bank called First Direct that provides authorized bank statements by post only within 7 to 10 working days from the requested date. I will not be able to produce a bank statement depicting my July Salary since my salary will get credited on the 27th July and my appointment is on the 2nd of August.
Is it ok if I submit my financials (payslip + bank statement) till the end of June and attend my appointment on August 2nd?
Or Can I submit my July payslip and Bank statements dated till the 23rd /24th of July and attend my interview?
Please let me know if any one of the above options are feasible or else I will have to postpone my appointment to the 1st or 2nd weekend of August.

For my appointment on August 2nd, I will not be able to generate a bank statement depicting my July month salary which will get credited on the 27th of July as my bank will take 7 to 10 working days to issue an authorized statement.

Hence, I was wondering if i could submit my July month pay slip with July month bank statements containing transactions till 23rd or 24th as those are the last days when i can request a bank statement which will reach me in time for my appointment on August 2nd.

Else, Would it be ok if i can submit my pay slips and bank statements till June 30th and attend my interview on August 2nd.

Anyway your financial documents shouldn't be older than 28 days from the date of application. Therefore, in your case July documents should be alright than June ones.
