You should continue in your existing topic you already have instead of tagging onto other members threads, which is not only unfair to the original poster, but creates confusion when members respond.bookerw100 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 29, 2018 12:16 pmHi Can I ask, how does this process work please.
I am trying to establish what would be the best route. Is the fiance visa different to marriage visitor visa?
Also if you register marriage in the UK, then the spouse has to go back to home country and apply for a family visa?
Essentially I am trying to make sure that I take the path of least resistance and get the visa asap.
many thanks
Thanks for your kind response CR001,CR001 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 28, 2018 10:30 pm1. Fine yes.
2. The FLR M form tells you what you need. Much the same as you needed for the fiance visa but more current.
3. Either, your choice.
4. There is only postal or in person which is same day decision and costs an extra £610 on top of the £1033 visa fee and £500 immigration health Surcharge.
Not clear on what you mean here??1. Does it mean , i will more pics and the likes.
Yes, for 5 year visa but FLR(M) is only for 2.5 years so IHS is £500 at present (due to double later this year).2. Thought the health surcharge is 1000GBP.
Up to 8 weeks, sometimes a bit longer.3. Furthermore, how long will it take for decision to be made if done through the postal mode.
1. I mean, will i have to send pictures as well to prove subsisting relationship.CR001 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 29, 2018 3:58 pmNot clear on what you mean here??1. Does it mean , i will more pics and the likes.

2. How do i get the exact price for the surcharge because i keep seeing 1000GBP every where. There has been no increase. It is £500
3. Wow, i do not have that time left on my visa, maybe paying for the premium will be helpful. Your legal residence remains the same while you are awaiting a decision on your FLR(M) application.
Not required.pharaohhotep wrote: ↑Sun Jul 01, 2018 6:18 pmHello Casa and CR001,
Please is there anything like registering a marriage done here in UK with an applicants home country. Is that a requirement.
Regards.
The 28 day rule doesn't apply when switching from fiance to spouse. You can apply at any time following the marriage and before the visa expires.pharaohhotep wrote: ↑Sun Jul 01, 2018 7:24 pmYou are very kind Casa,
Please another question.
I want to make a premium appointment now and am seeing something like 28 days qualifying period.
My Fiance visa expires on the 27th of August and i got married last week, can i book for an appointment now and it will be valid.
