Kindly help guys,
I want to apply for a spousal visa and presently have an income (i work in the UK legally) by working for an agency and get paid as I work weekly. I don't get paid some weeks as I don't work. I understand I Will be classified as non-salaried but will I be classified as Category A or B.
Another question, My partner presently work in retail with a 30 hrs contract and get paid weekly. She sometimes get paid more as she most times work more than 30 hrs. Please which category and classification will this fall under.
Can we combine both of this to meet the financial requirement.
Thank you guys as you assist with this.

Have you both worked for present employers from at least 26 weeks/6 months? If so then what is the income of both of you from the last 26 weeks/6 months?

Our income depends on how it is calculated. Knowing whether the employment is Category A or B and whether salaried or non salaried will decide how much we earn individually. We have both worked for the same company for more than 6 months.

In that case you can apply under category A non-salaried person route by combining your wages of last 26 weeks. For this purpose you both will need to attach 26 weeks payslips & corresponding bank statements along with employer letters. You might face difficulty for those weeks where you haven't earned anything but HO will strictly need the payslips from the last 6 months/26 weeks.

Date of application is the date of your in person appointment, which must be before your visa expires.
p.s. it is NOT an 'interview'.

Guys,
Please help, I saw the below while applying.
''Payslips covering any period of salaried employment (current and previous) in the period of 12 months prior to the date of application''
Am I required to provide 12 months payslips or six months?

If you are working for your employer from 6 months then only 6 months otherwise 12 months of payslips and corresponding bank statements will need.

Got this email from homeoffice (DB – DPTS5) today.
- You have not sent the mandatory photographs with your application. Please send these to us.
- You have not provided a valid passport, travel document or national identity card for you and your Spouse/Sponsor. Please send this to us to validate your application. If there are reasons beyond yours or your dependant’s control why the document cannot be provided, you must send evidence that you have submitted an application for a replacement document from your national Embassy/High Commission, or written evidence stating the reasons why they are unwilling to issue a valid document.
I sent 2 passport photograph for myself and 1 for my partner, I also sent both of our valid passport in my application. I am shocked by this message from them.
Please what should be my next step now.

It seems a strange email address to me.
I would suggest you contact UKVI and clarify if the email address is one they recognise.
The Gov.uk site states the format of their email address which doesn’t match either
https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... -and-scams
If you do wish to reply to that email, don’t provide any information but ask where you should send documents. If they provide the same Sheffield address then perhaps it is genuine!
Apologies if I am totally wrong on this.

How did you get on with contacting UKVI or did you reply to that email?
