English language requirements for settlement

Post by Sajee83 » Mon Aug 13, 2018 8:25 pm

HI,

I want to apply for ILR this year. I have IELTS Academic certificate with overall band 7.0. The requirement for ILR is B1 each band 4.0. Can I use my current certificate for the same? I hope Academic is more advanced and qualified test than B1? Please help to clarify?

if your IELTS was (1) sit in their approved test centre and (2) not expired, then it is ok.

Absence from UK not mentioned on the application - Please help

Post by Sajee83 » Tue Sep 11, 2018 9:25 pm

HI, I have the premier appointment in October for my ILR from Tier 2, 5 years. Due to a misunderstanding, i have mentioned NO absence from UK on the application whereas i have been travelling for business a lot. The application is completed and paid for so i cannot change it now. If i mention all the details on the cover letter and also if i get the confirmation letter from employer, will that be enough? Please help to confirm?
