Hi,
Greetings of the day!
Can anyone please help me with this query.
I have a family of three - Wife and two kids (under 18) and they are still in their home country.
I plan to apply for their visa after I get my ILR.
My query is, after I get my ILR:
1- How much income do I need to have to apply for a visa for a family of three?
2- For how long do I need to have this income before I apply i.e. six months or one year?
Many thanks in advance

Hi,
On an entrepreneur visa, a person can call his child from his home country before his child turns 18 years of age.
Will he be able to call his child even if it is 18th year running i.e. 17 years 10 months?
I hope my question is clear to comprehend.
Many thanks,

It is the 18th birthday that is the key. Once child turns 18, you cant get a dependent visa. It doesn't say anywhere any restrictions on allying anytime before the 18th birthday

Hi,
Suppose I get my ILR in May 2019 and then I need to call my family of 2 members (wife and kid) to UK.
The financial requirement for the same is that I need to show a certain income for 6 months in case I am in employment but it has to be shown for 12 months in case I earn it as a Director of my business.
Now if I start getting the required salary as a Director of my business from Jan 2019 itself, would I still be able to apply for my family’s visa in Dec 2019 (I would have completed one year of income as a Director of a limited company by then)? OR do I need to wait till 1 year AFTER I get the ILR in May 2019 and then apply in April 2020?
Many thanks,
Globe Trotter

Why don’t you bring
them now?

Thanks Vinny for the response.
I have certain plans that makes it feasible to call them after I get my ILR.
Can you please address my initial query?
Many thanks,

Once you got the settled status and earning sufficiently till the date of application then you can apply without having need to wait till next year of getting ILR. Why don't you find some salaried/non-salaried job now so that you can easily meet the financial requirement by MAY 2019 because self employment is very hard to prove to HO and extensive range of documents are required.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

Many thanks for the revert Seagul.
I am on Entrepreneur visa and hence cannot take up a salaried job.
What if I start getting the required salary as a director of my own company from now itself?
Will these salaries be considered during my application to call my family or only my earnings after getting the ILR shall be considered to meet the income threshold?
