Joining date -T2ICT to T2G

I am currently on T2ICT visa. CoS is sponsored by the current employer. Let's say, employer 'A'.
Another employer agreed to sponsor my T2G visa with a new CoS. Let's say, employer 'B'.

When I will move to T2G with employer 'B', I will not be able to change my job unless I get sponsorship from employer 'C'.

So, from a job perspective, there is no difference between T2ICT and T2G. The only difference is, on T2G I will be able to apply ILR after 5 years.

Ami I right? Any other difference?

You can not transfer to T2 General from ICT without a one year cooling off period either outside the UK or on a non PBS visa in the UK.

Unless you got your ICT way back in 2012 or before?

I can change from T2ICT to T2G because its Pre 2011 April.

The difference between ICT roles and T2 General roles is zero - as long as they meet the SOC / RQF 6 requirements they are no different.

So if your ICT job role is the same as the new Sponsor role and you meet SOC / RQF 6 and experienced salary then all ok.

I am working on a T2ICT visa with Company 'A' and CoS is sponsored by them. The visa is Pre 2011 April, so I can switch to another visa.
Also, I have to provide 3 months notice to the company 'A' to leave.

Another company 'B' has agreed to apply for T2G while remaining in the UK with a new CoS. T2G visa will take 8 weeks for the decision.

I have told the company 'B' that once I get the T2G then only I will resign from the company 'A' and 3 months notice period will start.
Company 'B' has given a tentative start date as Oct last week 2019 on my offer letter ( apply T2G on 1st May 2019, receive T2G visa on June last week 2019 and then notice period will start with company 'A' which will end on Sep end 2019).

But seems I will work with Company 'A' serving notice period on the CoS provided by Company 'B'.
Can I do that?
