Combination of different category to meet financial requirements

Post by JehangirAbhatti » Thu May 21, 2020 11:17 am

Hi everyone;

Its for 5 year route spouse visa.

1. We cant combine cat A and Cat B to show financial requirements.

2. Cat A can be combined with cat C, D and E.

3. Can we combine Cat A with Cat A.

This means person is working with two salaried jobs contracts and by combining both it becomes more than 18600 p/a.

My question is can we combine Cat A with another Cat A.

I.e. if the person is in contract with two different salaried job and works out 18600 by combining both.

Thanksalot
Both jobs must have been held with same employer from at least 6 months.

Thanks Seagul,

My another question is that I cant included Gratuity as it is already been added in gross pay, but this gratuity is only those tips which were given by the cutomers during card transactions.

Can we add cash tips given by the customers into our income. If yes, what proff we will have to give them to show income coming from tips in the form of cash.

Also, furlogh scheme is contributing 80% and it is effecting the sum of 18600 on wage slips. Can we provide them copy of contract which shows number of hours per week and rate per hour because if we calculate hours per week on the contract we can show 100% of income.

It won't be counted at all because it is from customers instead employer.

It may work under category B if you have earned £18600 during the last 12 months. However, you will still have to attach a recently dated employer letter which obviously need to have the information of your present status of employment "Furlough" as being a key information.

Appendix 1.7: financial requirements
August 2017

5.5.7. Overtime, payments to cover travel time (e.g. for a care worker travelling between appointments), commission-based pay and bonuses (which can include tips and gratuities paid via a tronc scheme registered with HMRC) will be counted as income from employment where they have been received in the relevant period(s) prior to the date of application. Sometimes the person will receive the same amount of income from overtime each month; sometimes overtime payments will vary, with different amounts (if any) each month. All overtime in salaried employment will be calculated based on the approach to income from non-salaried employment. This will be an annualised 6-month average for the overtime which will be added to the level of the gross annual salary.

It is a system run by the employer and the tips/gratuities are run through a payroll system. You don't appear to have this as you stated you received cash tips directly from the customer, which won't count.
