Tier 1 Extension (dependent child didn't have visa before )

Post by manuce » Tue Mar 06, 2012 11:30 am

Hello,

Ok here is the the situation of my friend who applied for Tier 1 visa.

Husband wife both had visa and they have applied for Tier 1 extension for another 2 years.

Child born (1.5years old) in Uk had passport but didn't have any visa on it.( they thought they just need to submit the passport of their child at the time of extension and they will get get the visa for their child, as this is what they were told by people.)

is this going to be a problem or their child will also get the extension visa with them?

please advice.

Thanksalot

Will they be travelling with the baby prior to applying for ILR?

you don't just 'submit the passport of the child at the time of the extension' you actually need to complete a PBS dependent form for the child and provide the specified documents.
