No, it is not mandatory for the sponsor to attend. The applicant has to attend.

Hi all,
So does the sponsor and applicant (Pakistan) take documents to each of their biometric appointment day ? And are documents posted or scanned?
For example will the applicant take tb test certificate, english test , and her original document on her biometric appointment...please help its all so confusing.

If you send 12 months of paylips is that how many months bank statement we need to send.

A question on application states what is your sponsors annual income from this employment before tax? So in a variable income do we calculate 6 months payslips prior to application then divide 6 and times by 12 or just calculate 12 months or write down whats on p60 which was calculated upto april?
