Re: Tier 2 salary change

Thanks. Does it look suspicious even if it’s an expected annual increase? Alternatively, can the sponsor add a note saying that they’d forgotten to update the salary in SMS, to avoid it looking suspicious?

Thanks, appreciate your time.

Re: Tier 2 salary change

Sorry follow up question - if the SoC code is showing a salary of up to a certain amount, say £38,000 and I’m getting 2-3K more than that due to annual salary changes, will this affect the application?

Appreciate the help.

Re: Tier 2 salary change

Thank you. Yes, they were salary increases. Is it still ok for the employer to add these increases in despite not having done it within 10 days? I understand they may get told off; just want to know if itll affect the final application itself. Thanks, again.

Would be super appreciative for any feedback from an expert; just trying to not stress out about this.

Thanks,

Tier 2 salary change

Hi there, My salary has changed from when I first applied for Tier 2. The change occurred as the salary started on the Tier 2 CoS was incorrect, and had to be modified twice to ensure I was on the correct pay scale. I have also since been given an additional allowance for an added role. My question ...

New passport on Tier 2 visa

Hi there, Can someone please advise me whether we need to inform the Home Office if the old passport which Tier 2 was issued on has been replaced with a new passport due to expiry, and if there is a time limit by when they need to be notified by? I will be applying for an extension soon; my new ...

Re: CoS button locked

Thanks for the reply. I’ve checked this morning and they have now contacted the help desk. We also actually have another month before we need to apply, so that may be an issue. On a related note - do the home office check the RLMT conducted the last time? I obtained the visa despite the closing date ...

Re: RLMT question

Cheers.

If the home office has done an audit on a business and found a closing date wasn’t explicitly on the ad, what are the consequences?

Re: RLMT question

Thanks, I'm aware we don't need to do another RLMT, but just wondered if the previous one was checked again?

RLMT question

Hello, Just wondering if the home office check the RLMT conducted for Tier 2 extensions? Or do they just require the reference number to prove it was done? Reason for the question is that my tier 2 visa was originally granted despite one of the ads not having a clear end / apply-by date on the ...

CoS button locked

Hello, My Tier 2 visa is up for renewal. My employer said the SMS system was allowing them to assign a CoS, but that the button that allows them to do this was locked. I've had a read of the troubleshooting section in the SMS guide, but just wondered if there are any other reasons this could be ...

Tier 2 renewal 2018

Hi there,

Just wondering if anyone knows whether the new £55,000 salary limit applies to Tier 2 renewals? And what does having it re-set in April mean? Will it go back to normal?

Thanks.

Re: BRP for spouse transferring to Tier 2

Thanks for the prompt reply. Yes, he's applied online, paid the fee (£640.00...or something similar) plus the NHS fee. However, we were wondering, when they ask him on the form whether he has a BRP, do they mean his current Youth Mobility Visa BRP, as that is what he has put down. Sorry, can we also ...

BRP for spouse transferring to Tier 2

Hi, hoping someone can assist. I was sponsored by my organisation back in August. My husband has applied to jump on my sponsorship visa from his current Youth Mobility Visa which expires later this month. On the application form he mentioned my BRP number but I think he has also ticked a box saying ...
