Re: South America 2 years to residency in Spain

After 2 years of "“residencia legal y continuada" they can apply for citizenship. Hi I'm from the UK, but my partner is from Chile. She's currently in Spain on a tourist visa and is considering working "cash in hand", ie on the blackmarket. She believes that because she is from South America and the...

Re: Family visa Applied under directive 2004/38/ever

Your husband doesn't need a job in advance. But if he had a job offer + temporary accommodation, it would make things a lot more straightforward. If we will get settled in any EU country then probably not. But if the case is back to UK, then what will you suggest? Because brexit is arriving. please ...

AIRE is for things like voting in elections whilst abroad.
If your Italian spouse moves abroad (eg, the UK) they should register.

Re: Visa at the LAND border for EU family member

You will be kept at the border for many hours while they do their checks and your visa will be valid least amount of time possible. They can also refuse you and turn you around. You will also be asked and probably required to prove why you haven't gotten a visa in advance. Border agents are not stup...

Do not push it with Poland. They will refuse. And do not randomly think about choosing countries. The best option for you to join your husband in Germany or Netherlands, and preferably make your application with a local lawyer. Although not required, expect to prepare documents proving your relation...

Re: Schengen Tourist visa for non EU spouse details

You are a UK / EU citizen. You will be travelling to another EU state that is not your own. This means you will exercise your rights as defined in article 2004/38/EC. Which means your family members can travel with you and enjoy the same freedoms. Which also means that they get to benefit from a hig...

Re: French national working and living in Berlin, marrying Indian in India

Only the issuing government can apostille the document. Germans can't apostille Indian marriage certificate. The benefit of registering the marriage in France is that your marriage is registered in EU. The last bit you quoted means that not all EU nationals automatically benefits of right of free mo...

1) They might ask your Indian marriage certificate to be apostilled. It would be very useful for you if your partner registered the marriage in France via the French embassy in wherever you are in India. 2) Check this page out. It explains you everything to get your residence permit in Berlin: https...

I know it is not what you want but what you want is very subjective and won't help you. Issuance of a multi entry visa highly depends on circumstances such as location of application, purpose of visit, family ties. You need to wait for your uppehallskort before travelling outside the country. It can and most likely will take 6 months. But you are not an overstayer. uppehallskort is your "residene permit". actually your right comes from "sambo". and the piece of paper proving it is your uppehallskort. travel wi...

Fiona sounds deeply confused. And if you'd read it, you'd have understood that there is no such thing as "EU family member visa for 90 days". There isn't even such a thing called "EU family member visa". Speaking of Schengen countries when it comes to Schengen visas there are two types in general: s...

Well, people hear all sorts of things. You can either read and follow the law, or follow what people say. EU directive itself says only real requirement is being family member and proving it basically. Honestly go and read the EU directive. It's not that long. Chapters 4, 5, 6 will be of most intere...
