Just an update guys. Contacted the IPS and was told the contents of the interview letter sent to me wouldn't be available on the system and therefore inaccessible until a week after the letter was dispatched, hence the inability of the IPS staff to divulge the requested information. Whilst taking m...

There are two requirements to qualify as UK/EU student. First you should have ILR (which you have). 2nd is you should be living here in UK for the last 3 years or more so if you fulfill this requirement then you are eligible to pay UK/EU student fee.

Thanks for your reply. In the letter I received from NCS it was mentioned that they will not be able to process the application unless photo is signed by the referees. I checked the guideline again but can not see anywhere where it says that photo should be signed by referees. SECTION 5: REFEREES &...

Re: 2 questions - naturalisation

I have 2 questions regarding the referees. Applying based on marriage. My friend is a qualified accountant who knows me personally for more than 3 years, can I make him one of the referee? The photograph with the application, does it need to be signed by both the referees or just by one referee. Pl...

What if the letter get lost? It's not completely unlikely if it's sent 2nd class, and we'll keep waiting until at least the 6th month since application, and by then the 90 days window to the ceremony might have passed! I received the approval letter from HO and a letter from local authority with ce...

Your partner should still be able to pay local fees as long as she is on a dependant visa (not student visa) and she is in UK for at least 3 years. I don't think this statement is correct. Jambo is correct. One can only pay home fees if he/she is free of immigration control (ILR) and also have live...

need not mention as it was FPN. A bit confuse here. I think CU80 (using mobile whilst driving) does not come under minor offence. See guidance notes : We will normally disregard a single conviction for a minor offence resulting in a bind over, conditional discharge or relatively small fine or compe...
