Change Employment / Setup company after application

Hi,

Just wondering if the sponsor is allowed to change employment / setup own limited company after initial application is made (from overseas) and 2/3 months have already passed but no decision has been received.

Sometimes it can take good 6 months or more to get a decision!!

OR (as a safer option) do the sponsor need to wait until the outcome is received ?

Please share your thoughts.

Prefer to wait until decision. But if the new job/business opportunity is heavily attractive only than might be undertaken while also updating to HO.
