yes declare it. declare that you voluntary withdrew it. some recently on this forum got refused because they didn't mention a previous application the withdrew
Not sure about best route to take but can help with proof of communication. Yeah 2 screenshots per day from December to April would be plenty.sm0127 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 01, 2019 4:43 pmMy fiancé is currently living in Ireland and has applied for Stamp 4 permit. We’ve agreed that rather than I moving to Ireland, he will move to Pakistan, and we will marry there. This effectively means he will withdraw his Stamp 4 application. We’ll then apply for his visa from Pakistan for the U.K.
Are there any implications to this? And is the best route?
We’ve chosen this route because I have a really good job here and it doesn’t make sense for me to uproot my life and then struggle on my return - it’s better for one person to be unemployed than two!
It was an arranged/by choice marriage. We were introduced in December 2018 and since then we’ve had consistent communication (mainly text and calls). By April, this will be four months of consistent conversation.
How do I prove the communication?
What kind of conversation should be shown?
Should it be 2-3 screenshots per day to evidence communication?
Should I print off the conversation log? (although an argument could be that this can be falsified).
What else do I need to include to prove it is a genuine and subsisting relationship?
Do any pictures need to be noted with dates/times/explanation?
This one highlighted.
No, it is the applicants previous applications and history.I thought this meant any previous applications made by the sponsor, eg. I haven’t made any. Is this right?
ALL applications must be stated, even the withdrawn one as HO do check with Ireland. There was a recent refusal of a spouse visa for failing to declare their Irish application that was withdrawn. My husband to be was in the UK initially on a student visa and then moved to Ireland and is legally working there. Do we have to declare his student visa application and any application for Ireland too? Bearing in mind that as we are marrying in Pakistan, his Ireland visa application for a stamp 4 will be voluntarily withdrawn.
Not everyone is being interviewed and their employers are being contacted but if this happens then its all part of process usually just before of decision.
