I am applying for my spouse visa (settlement category), Just want to know that do I need to submit my old passports or just the photocopies will suffice.

Applicant always need to submit its original passport even expired along with its valid passport. But in case where you cannot attach your previous passport especially when it was being lost/stolen then still you have to give its details along with the reason of not attaching it.

If you are using the new system, you can scan your passport(s) and submit the scans and keep your passport. My question is do I have to scan all my husbands expired passports when he applies for SET(M). His go back to 1961! (Windrush times!) So it is going to be a lot of scanning! I was wondering if they only need to see passports that cover the past five years. However, if they need to see all, I will of course scan all of them. Any advice would be much appreciated.

You must have to send previous original passports unless they were lost/stolen because form ask about them. But if its exceptionally difficult to get those ones then maybe the copy of these with covering letter might work.

We have joint names on the bank statement, insurance letters, and tenancy agreement. However the bank the statement I am using for the cash savings visa that fulfils the requirement of £62,500 has a UK address, will this be a problem.

In long past the Estonian & German issued residence permits of family members of EU nationals were giving free entry to UK. Check it out maybe they still be active.
