As i rent my house, is a housing report needed, i know people who own their house pay around 100 pound and have a report done. Just wondering is if you rent you have to do the same thing or if i can just get the report from xxx and its acceptable? Thanks!

Why take the risk (spending thousands of pounds on the application) and not get a House Survey done?

Get all the paperwork done in the initial attempt so HO doesn't have to chase you for anything. Otherwise, having to provide something that you could've provided initially can add months to the decision making process.

Just read the posts from other people on this forum, especially on timelines threads and you'll see how stressfull the waiting can be for some.

So my landlord estate agents will provide the property inspection report for me? Also do i need a letter of no objection for my wife to live there if my name is on the tenancy agreement?

Our local Council provided the report for £60.
Maybe ask your Council first and if that fails a reputable surveyor, estate agent etc may be okay.

I actually have one from when we moved in, i have a house report with all the dimensions and what not already when i moved in, which was years ago, although nothing has changed, is it still viable to use or should i speak to the council?

NOC letter should be strictly from the home landlord/estate agent acting on behalf of landlord.

No you won't need any permission from others because NOC from landlord/agency will be enough but on form you might be asked to supply the detail of others too.

So i started my job in december 8th 2018, we are applying on june 8th 2019, i will get the employment letter finished early ready, so for example, the employment letter will be dated for may the 28th, at that point, I would have gotten my 6th payslip but not employed day to day 6 months, about a week short, if i request my employer to state something like '' he has informed me they are applying for the visa on june 8th, he would have been with us for 6 months at the time.''. Or should i ask them to just date the letter june 8th and act as if ive been there already for 6 months.

Just wait one more week so that you complete your 6 months employment despite you can get the 6th month payslip earlier but your start date of employment with employer would show the truth.
