Spouse Visa House Report?

Post by Darke » Thu Apr 25, 2019 10:16 am

As i rent my house, is a housing report needed, i know people who own their house pay around 100 pound and have a report done. Just wondering is if you rent you have to do the same thing or if i can just get the report from xxx and its acceptable? Thanks!

Do you live in the house on your own or do you share the property with other non related people?

3 Bedrooms, which is plenty for 4 people that will be living there, wife included.

Why take the risk (spending thousands of pounds on the application) and not get a House Survey done?

Get all the paperwork done in the initial attempt so HO doesn't have to chase you for anything. Otherwise, having to provide something that you could've provided initially can add months to the decision making process.

Just read the posts from other people on this forum, especially on timelines threads and you'll see how stressfull the waiting can be for some.

property inspection report won't be needed as no one is related adult but no harm in doing it for extra peace of mind.

So my landlord estate agents will provide the property inspection report for me? Also do i need a letter of no objection for my wife to live there if my name is on the tenancy agreement?

Our local Council provided the report for £60.
Maybe ask your Council first and if that fails a reputable surveyor, estate agent etc may be okay.

Yes you need a no objection letter from landlord.

Spouse visa accomodation

Post by Darke » Sun May 05, 2019 6:00 pm

Have every completed, housing report, letter of no objection, tenancy agreement in hand, was just wondering because I live with my mum and my brother, me and my mother are the names on the tenancy agreement, do I need to get letter of no objection from them both and copy their passport pages or do I not need to bother with anything to do with them? Thanks!

NOC letter should be strictly from the home landlord/estate agent acting on behalf of landlord.

I have the NOC from the estate agent and landlord, I’m just wondering if I need my family that I live with to also make their own letter, or is it okay as we’re family? I read somewhere if you share house with others you should also get their permission, but I think that’s only if they’re not related to you.

No you won't need any permission from others because NOC from landlord/agency will be enough but on form you might be asked to supply the detail of others too.

Spouse Visa employment letter dating help?

Post by Darke » Tue May 14, 2019 9:16 am

So i started my job in december 8th 2018, we are applying on june 8th 2019, i will get the employment letter finished early ready, so for example, the employment letter will be dated for may the 28th, at that point, I would have gotten my 6th payslip but not employed day to day 6 months, about a week short, if i request my employer to state something like '' he has informed me they are applying for the visa on june 8th, he would have been with us for 6 months at the time.''. Or should i ask them to just date the letter june 8th and act as if ive been there already for 6 months.

Thanks Guys!

Just wait one more week so that you complete your 6 months employment despite you can get the 6th month payslip earlier but your start date of employment with employer would show the truth.
