As littlerr said, it's normal to be asked for specific documents. If INIS hasn't asked for all your documents it's because they don't need them. There is no such thing as"always" with INIS.
Thanks for your response. Does this mean it's a good news because it's the last step? How long do you think they ll take to answer?markem wrote: ↑Sun Jul 21, 2019 8:03 amAs littlerr said, it's normal to be asked for specific documents. No I didn't contact a solicitor as everyone were saying that it makes no difference. I sent my and my spouse's passport the day I got the letter asking for them, but in my letter they just requested the 2 passports and proof of rent payment for 2019. What did they ask you to send?Waitingonstamp4 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2019 1:06 pmIt said on our application that they were also finalising our application so I think it should be pretty soon. I’ll drop a post here when I get the letter. Could you please do the same?![]()
I think you’re getting mixed up with threads.
@Waitingonstamp4 what did they ask you to send? Do you think that's a good news and they will give the letter soon?Waitingonstamp4 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2019 3:05 pmI think you’re getting mixed up with threads.
We are referring to applications to remain in the state based on marriage to an Irish citizen.
Your application is about citizenship.
Hope you hear something soon.
They asked us for our passports, bank statements, proofs of address and recent payslips. As I mentioned above; we’ll probably hear their final decision in a few weeks.Subziro wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2019 3:19 pm@Waitingonstamp4 what did they ask you to send? How can I private message you?Waitingonstamp4 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 23, 2019 1:27 pm@Subziro - actually if I could ask a favour - would you mind private messaging the person who sent you your letter please? I’m curious to see if it is the same as mine
Hi,Waitingonstamp4 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 05, 2019 7:10 pmHi again,
I’m just curious - on your letter did it say you qualify for a stamp 4 for 12 months or 36 months?
Ours said 12 months but that we could renew next year.
