Anamkhan wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2019 5:45 am@ newmee,, you need to apply for paper based application form . Call EU resolution centre and request an application form . Can’t give u a timeline of how long it takes them to send the form and respond etc because in my hubby’s case it took ages as the home office had not even prepared paper based applications then . But I hear they are sending Out forms pretty quickly now .
Once u receive the form you need to fill
It out , submit all the documents you submitted with your family permit I.e. satisfy the Center of life test in another EU state , British spouse exercising treaty rights in that member state etc.
Once you send the form , you should receive a letter for biometrics , you provide this by going to a post office ( it’s free of charge )
After that you wait for a decision . For us it took more than a month once we submitted the biometrics details .
Best of luck
There are immigration officials at the land and sea borders, usually based in franceworrieduk wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2019 10:09 pmHello all,
I've following this post for a while and I'm so happy many BCs and their spouses are receiving their rights to remain in the UK.
I have a question if you don't mind, I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to ask.![]()
I'm a BC with a non-EEA spouse currently living in Germany. They have received their Family EEA permit to enter the UK but I was wondering if it's okay to come into the port of Folkestone by car. (We have cats and we don't want them travelling by plane.) Or do you think it's better to arrive at a UK airport with the permit to be checked by an immigration official?
Thank you

Good luck with your application, I read somewhere that people getting email from home office regarding the application so hopefully you would get one soon. btw what did you apply for?ljdebenedictis wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 7:30 amHi everyone
I finally sent my application on Monday as I am now finished with all my traveling for now. They received my application yesterday (saw it through royal mail track and trace), will I get an email, text or post that my application has been received by them or if they are starting the process? If yes, how long did it take to get a confirmation?
Can you guys tell me how long did the process takes for everyone who got their PSS or Surinder Singh route?
Thanks a lot xx

Great, Thank you, we came here in sep 2014 but our RC took longer, had to go through court and finally got it in 2017.ljdebenedictis wrote: ↑Thu Sep 05, 2019 8:35 pmHi.kunfayakun wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 8:10 pmHi buddy,

I applied for settled status (I arrived in 2014 and got UK RC) after couple of months.
The papers I sent are the following:
1 My non eu passport with the UKRC vignette sticker
2 British citizen’s passport
3 Marriage certificate
4 Proof of 5 years continuous residence:
- 5 years annual bank account (both me and husband)
- 5 years P60 (both me and husband)
I don't have rent agreement, mortgage or any utility bills hence annual bank statements and P60. xx

We came here sep 2014 from Ireland without the family permit, upon arrival no boarder checks so no stamps
in our passports.
that time we were living with my parents so no council tax or tenancy in our names.
Luckily my (non eu) wife got the job so she has the employment history from 2014.
Signed up for wifi in my wifey (non eu) name in November 2014 but now we only have December 2014 bill in
our hands.
My bank statements starting from November 2014 (Brit cit)
so when do you think we can apply for settled status? this month or wait till November as our statements starting from? please give me your advice on this.
Thank you

As far as I know you can submit 6 months worth of evidences on every 12 months you are in UK.
Do you still have the copy of the airline tickets you used because as far as I can remember you can use that. Also, did you registered to your local GP? You can use that to, mobile phone bills can be useful too. xx
