I’ve tried to seek further advice but the immigration I live down the road from won’t let me in the building without an appointment. The number they gave me gives a few unhelpful automated options, when requesting advice on international immigration services I’m told to call the £1.47 a minuet hotline which flat refuse to offer any guidances outside of technical help with the application website.
You cannot apply in the UK on your wifes' behalf. She has to apply from her home country and pay the out of country visa fee which is higher. Is it possible to apply on my wife’s behalf? Would this reduce the fee and turn around time? Or this option only for those with already settled status looking to extend?
Yes, if the online form doesn't have the financial requirement section.Do we need to submit an appendix II form?
UKVI helpline either dont give immigration advice or provide wrong advice as per member's past experiences. Also a lot of advisors dont give free advice.Appendixmad wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 4:29 pmThanks again Seagul!

They told me to seek qualified advisors from the .gov website. I called every one listed in my area, half didn’t answer the phone and the rest refused to help without me hiring them....so anyway...
You can certainly fill out the application form and upload the documents on her behalf. She will only need to attend the biometrics appointment in her local vfs centre. By doing this application fee and processing time will remain sameAppendixmad wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 4:29 pmIs it possible to apply on my wife’s behalf? At the moment there is no official confirmation regarding not attaching the appendix II even the link is still active, therefore, as a precaution simply fill it out despite the same questions are being on online form and other members got success without it.
