Spouse visa extension - Umbrella company

Post by alex900 » Tue Nov 21, 2017 11:18 pm

I have my own limited company and I receive dividends. However, I do not want to use this as my income as the list of documents is horrendous and they won't process my application on the same day.

I have been receiving a salary from an Umbrella company as a permanent employee from past 12 months which is annual £21,000 Gross. I have following questions.

1. Can I apply under Category-A of financial requirement when using an Umbrella company as per my circumstances mentioned above?
2. If I submit 6 months payslips and bank statements is this ok ?
3. If point 2's answer is Yes then , I will be showing only £10,500 gross 6 months pay slips but the requirement is £18,600 how is this ok?

Spouse visa FLR M financial requirement clarification

Post by alex900 » Wed Nov 22, 2017 10:48 pm

My Gross monthly income is £1,750 in a permanent employment and with the same employer for 8 months.

1. Do I qualify under Category-A?

2. If I do, is it sufficient to send only 8 months statements instead of full 12? I don't have 12 months statements as I wasn't working prior to 8 months.

3. Is it mandatory to send P60? I don't have a P60. Can I submit employment letter and contract instead?

Based on your situation above you perfectly fit under category A salaried person if your wages remain same. For that purposes you need the 6 months payslips with 6 months corresponding bank statements and employer letter. Be mindful that 6 months instead 6 in numbers.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

FLR M spouse visa cohabitation requirement clarification

Post by alex900 » Thu Nov 23, 2017 9:54 am

1. I don't have p60 as it was not issued, can I show employment contract, employer letter, payslips and relevant bank statements instead?
2. I have following proof with both (me and my spouse's name) to prove we are living together
a. Energy Bill
b. Water Bill
c. Council Tax

Energy bills and water bills are quarterly so we get 4 bills each (water and energy) every year.
However, my Council issues 1 bill every year with monthly payment schedule on it.
We don't get monthly or quarterly council bill.

We don't have a joint bank account. But we both have separate bank accounts with same address on.

Question: 1: No P60, is this ok?

Question : 2: Are these proof sufficient to satisfy we are living together?

Question: 3: Our child was born recently, can we show some NHS letters will this be accepted proof? But those letters just have my wife's name not my name.

Can you please try follow the forum rules regarding multiple posts as already asked yesterday and keep ALL your questions on the same application in ONE topic (this one with all merged).

No need for multiple topics with the same question. When someone is available and willing to respond to your question, I am sure they will.

I am new to this website. Although it has great information however the interface is very clunky and confusing and information is not very well organised. I will try to create my posts in one thread.
