Before being worried about late pay you should understand the required threshold to meet which is £18600. If your wages is only £105 per week then it's too little to meet requirement.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

No employer pays exact same day there is always fluctuation of days. If money has arrived at your account and you have bank statement to show the money arriving along with the payslip which match then you are covered from all angels.

Spouse visa - home office call

Post by rahila » Fri Mar 23, 2018 9:23 am

Hi

I am a bit worried as I had a call interview from the home office. They asked questions about my employment. I just realised I may have answered a few question incorrectly.
1. They asked about building sign. I said it's white with black writing. However it is half red and half white.
2. Another one was my annual pay I said I do not know.
3. Neighbouring businesses. I said one correctly which is opposite our building but one incorrectly.

I am really worried now. Please can you give advice on this.
Thanks

They asked about building colour? Is this a part time / additional job you applied with?

Hi
It's a part time job. The building colour I knew. It was the sign, on the outside of building. Where it says name of the company. It's 2 colours however I only said 1 colour the background colour of the sign.

I am more surprised that you did not know more or less what your annual income from the job was. Surely you would know this, especially if you had recently completed the Appendix FM form with all your financial details.

I had it done through a solicitor :( would this lead to a refusal? Also I've only been working here for 6 months

Not necessarily, try not to worry too much about it as a lot of people panic or are under pressure when receiving these calls and can use wrongs words etc.

If every other question were answered to the best of knowledge. I think you will get a positive outcome if the rest of your support documents were in order InshaAllah.

Oh I hope you are right. I guess at this point I can't do much else other than wait. In shaa Allah I get a positive response.

If you haven't done so, post your timeline so it can be used to get an indication of when you are likely to get a response from HO

My wife abroad had the biometrics taken on the 22nd feb 2018 and application online on the 15th feb 2018 but did not receive my documents back yet...Feeling worried..I received no call yet to me or to my work.
I applied on priority too....hmmmmm should I email them and see if they have received it as I have sent the supporting documents on the 5th march (via parcel force) and not received any email...

That is quite slow. I submitted mine 15/02/18 and received them back 22/02/18. Did not receive an email, the package just came back with a generic letter saying copies taken - can't recall exactly. I used Royal Mail special next day delivery and provided a prepaid return bag which was also special next day delivery.

Use parcel force tracking number first to confirm it has been delivered.

The thing is I have tracked it and it got delivered and signed...its got a name who signed it but doesn't say where?

Is this common?

Can members please respect that this is NOT a general discussion topic for all to post about their individual cases. It is rude and unfair to the OP to do this.

Maybe it's because you sent your documents later than I did? Hopefully you get a response soon. I think with priority it's taking about just over 3 weeks for them to get back to you but I am speaking from personal experience.

Thanks rahila....did you send it via parcel force or royal mail?

I thought it counts from the date the biometrics has being taken?
