FLR (M) and A1 test about to expire

Post by googleit » Tue Apr 10, 2018 9:56 pm

Hello

A question with senior members here please.

I’m going to apply for FLR(M) for my wife end of april. She passed A1 English Language test almost 23 months ago , that will expire in mid May 2018.

My question is that the test is valid till 15th May , if I apply end of april will that be valid during visa application process , surly the process will take 6-8 weeks , or shall I book another test for her ?

Many thanks

Let the A1 test be expired as it's not needed rather A2 will be needed at flrm extension.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

Thanks for you reply , it’s GESE Grade 2 A1 that is in acceptable English Language tests for family visa. I just read again in ukba website.

So now the question is would this still be acceptable if it expires during visa application is pending and we apply before it expires ?

Thanks

For FLR(M) extension you need English A2 and NOT the A1. The rules changed in May last year from A1 to A2 for extensions.

Thanks for your reply , actually it’s not extension of frl (M) , it’s switching to FLR(M) from PBS dependant visa.
She holds a PBS dependant visa and we gonna apply for FlR(M) , so will GESE grade 2 (A1) be good enough that’s valid till 15h May 2018 ?
Thanks

This is why it is so important to state the full visa facts accurately and correctly, to avoid incorrect advice being given!!

A1 is fine, provided it is from a test provider on the current HO approved list.

Thanks for your reply ,

Would this be okay to apply with this in april as the test expires in may 2018?

So if it expires while application is with Home office , are we covered as we applied when it was valid ?

Many thanks

Electronic payslips (FLRM)

Post by googleit » Tue Apr 24, 2018 3:34 pm

Hi

I am applying for FLR(M) for wife who’s in UK. We both receive electronic payslips. Do we have to get these attested ? Or just print out along with employers letter is sufficient ?

Many thanks

Yes. The electronic version of payslip must be stamped by the company management or accompained by a letter confirming its authentically.

Thanks , yes I’ll be providing company’s letter . Can company’s accountancy company can stamp those payslips to confirm authenticity? I mean company’s accountant
