Spouse visa.1. When did you enter the UK?
Is this relevant to the first time ever visiting UK (i.e. on a tourist visa) or first time with spouse visa?
Which question number is this in the FLR(M) form? Are you doing the online form or the paper form? You can include country of birth though, its fine.Have you previously lived in a country outside the UK including your country of birth?
The applicant has only lived in the country of birth prior to moving to the UK. Should country of birth be included?
No your birth certificate is not required.I as a sponsor am a British citizen who was born outside the UK. I hold a valid UK passport. Is my birth certificate required for the application?
No, do not staple the payslips to the bank statements. They are two separate required sets of documents. And finally, regarding the documents which are to be submitted. For example, should the payslips be stapled to the bank statements, or all documents be just submitted randomly arranged? I currently use paper clips to hold each person's bank statement together, payslips etc.
They are not required as far as I am aware. The reason I asked about my birth certificate is, at before the end of application form there are check-boxes to tick to confirm certain documents will be provided by the applicant. One of those is: "Birth certificate of both of parents". When we first applied 2.5 years ago, I wasn't asked for a birth certificate.
No she will not be an overstayer if she applies before her current visa expires.I would like to ask one more question. The current (first) visa expires on 19/10/2018. I am planning to post the documents a few days prior to expiry. Would the applicant be "overstaying" during the visa processing time as it will go beyond the expiry date, which is on the BRP.
Hand them in where?? There is no 'walk in service' to submit supporting documents if you apply by post. For postal, the date of application is the date you submit online. Only if you apply in person for a same day decision is this possible but it is likely far too late now to get an appointment before the 19th.Also, would it be better to hand in the documents physically instead of posting?
You will need the issuing bank to stamp and sign as verification of validity.
If documents were received through mail, would they still need to be stamped done? I have until 19/10 to send off the documents, not sure if bank needs appointment etc for this.
