Re: E vetting and citizenship application

This post makes me a bit confused about the E-Vetting. Can we say there is no approval without the E-Vetting invitation? or the E-vetting is not for everyone. I submitted My Application in late 2020, & didn`t receive any E-Vetting requests. Can I have any hopes of getting direct approval without E-...

Re: Freedom of information application

Does anyone know if there is a limit on the number of times that you can request the FOI?
Can you request FOI every year?
&
Does the FOI delay the Citizenship application? or has no effect at all on the process?

Re: E vetting and citizenship application

One thing I dont understand is why do they need to get consent? How were they doing vetting in the past? Were they asking for applicant's consent in the past? Laws change and evolve. GDPR is doing everyone a favour here. Everyone needs consents to access a person’s details, regardless of whether it...

Re: Family Reunification - Long-Term Residency

Just to clear up a bit of terminology: Long-Term Residency, or LTR, is an administrative scheme for people who obtain residence permits based on work visas. You came to Ireland based on Family Reunifications, so you are not eligible for the LTR scheme. The options available to you are (1) applying ...

Re: Citizenship Application and Social Welfare Claims (Temporary Wage Subsidy))

It is not counted.

I received the TWSS for 2 months in 2020.
I did a statement through MyWelfare now the statement takes 1 minute to generate & it says that I received 0 Euro form social welfare in 2020.

Hope that is answering your question.

You are not considered to have leave to remain permission until you have registered with GNIB. Your first stamp starts at the date of your registration.

Hi, I entered Ireland on 22/09/2015 with Visa type "D" (Family renunciation), the officer at the airport stamped my passport from 22/09/2015 to 22/10/2015 to go and register. After 3 weeks I got my first GNIB - Stamp 4 on 12/10/2015. Can I know if the period between 22/09/2015 to 12/10/2015 is consi...

Re: Covid-19 Residency Gap & Calculator

Once you get your new IRP card, your new card’s permission start date can be traced back to when your old IRP card expires. So in the residency calculator, if your old card expires on 1 April, and you get your new card on 30 August, you can put in 1 April instead of 30 August as the date when your ...
