You can as well get married in any Church of Scotland, if you dont get your COA before the wedding date. Its the same thing as getting married in a Church of England(Anglican) You might also receive your COA soon, I received mine in august after about 10 weeks. So dont press the panic button yet as ...

Like what daddy already advised, if you've been here since you were 14, it depends on how old you are now. You may be eligible for ILR under the the ''long residence rule''. DL or ''outside the rules'' application are not a quick option to regularisation, it could take a while to get it sorted. Dont...

My best mate returned home in September to apply a spouse visa and I supported him, though he's still there but I believe he'll be back soon. In my opinion, the case refered above was a very strong one and I am not surprised that he's successful but the speed of the success was amazing. I am also an...

I would think about this properly and seek legal help if I'm in your position(or should I say I'm in your position but different in details). Never claim asylum, and no criminal record. Pay more attention to Casa and Elena's posts(going home means your asylum claim was false and the prison sentence ...

As the COA rule applies to all Non EEA who wishes to get married in the UK, I would say ''YES''. Not really sure that being recognised as an unmarried partner of a Brit and got a visa in that capacity, it doesn't make sense to me that you should need one but the rules applies to all Non EEA's except...

If you say NO, there would be questions on your previous sponsorship as a cousin. In my opinion, you should say YES and I dont think it should be a problem as cousins are allowed to marry each other in Pakistan. The problem is really on the previous application where you claimed to be cousins. To ha...

it's that he isn't actually related to her but she was previously granted a visitor visa (after appeal) on the basis that she was sponsoring him as a cousin. :?: :?: :!: :!: Yeah! that was deception, which could become a serious issue if it comes to the ECO's discovery. Yeah Casa, thats what I thought. If he's from a country like Pakistan where cousins do marry each other. My freind wants to inform her employer that technically, she is now living in the UK illegally. Is this the case?
No! I dont think so.

UKBA might not even do anything about it until the end of her 2 year probationary(Spouse) visa.
