Re: Naturalisation for my daughter

You asked a similar question in 2017. The advice doesn't change. https://www.immigrationboards.com/british-citizenship/naturalization-for-my-daughter-t243748.html#p1563994 Your daughter will only qualify for ilr when your wife does. This is clear in the immigration rules. The rules don't allow your...

Re: **** COVID19 Biometrics appointments and UKVCAS ***** (Discuss here ONLY)

With the risk of going a bit off-topic: is it normal receiving no acknowledgement whatsoever after returning from the UKVCAS appointment? I thought that at least I'd receive an email saying something like "your application has been sent to the Home Office, toodle-oo." But.. nothing. And I paid £110...

Re: FLR(M) and Biometric queries

You can't use the IDV digital face photo app if you have opted out of reuse biometrics. So unclear why you have been asked for a selfie. By opting out, you have to attend a biomteric appointment at ukcvas.

Re: Is VFS for Uk visas in Pakistan open for Biometric Appointments??

Likely people are not applying at the moment or those who have applied are delaying the VFS appointment for whatever reason.

Note also that not everyone comes back to update the forum on the visa outcome.

Thanks for your answer. Are the Irish citizens still considered settled status after BREXIT?
Yes, they are covered under the Good Friday Agreement, which is why they are considered SETTLED from the day that they arrive in the UK.

Re: British & Filipino [Fiancée] settle in Spain or Worldwide

Hello The situation is not evolving favourably for you. If you wait 2021, you will have only 1 country you can go back to with your other half: United Kingdom. British passport is probably one of the worst when it comes to bringing partners/spouses. You will have to go through the UK routes. It req...

2. Please do NOT start a new topic with each question you have on the same application. Keep all your questions in one topic, this one.

Irish citizens are considered settled from the date they arrive in the UK. They are also EU citizens and all EU citizens qualify for job creation.

1. Please do not tag your questions onto other members topics. It is considered rude and unfair to other members. 2. For citizenship, ALL absences are treated the same, as absence. There is no distinction between holiday/work/business etc. You simply need to meet the absence limit requirements for c...
