Re: EEA Family Permit: is it valid after 31/12/2020?

Hello I can be wrong, by my understanding is that they are no longer valid to travel, work or prove any right beyond Dec 31, 2020. After that date people with these card would still have about 6 months to apply for the EU Settlement Scheme before it closes to new entrants for good. The last EEA card...

Re: NEED URGENT HELP PLEASE!!!

I come from a culture where often people are married by family. Like the mother would find a suitable girl for her son and both families arrange the wedding. I have seen cases where the couple met the first time on their wedding day! It's less common now than what it used to be in the 80s and 90s bu...

Re: NEED URGENT HELP PLEASE!!!

Hello When dealing with the Home Office for immigration matters, you need to be able to demonstrate that your relationship is genuine. You are in a weak position due to the fact that you didn't live together. So when asked basic questions, you are more likely to fail. Try another EU country I would ...

Thank you CR001. You are absolutely right. Then we have: https://www.gov.uk/start-up-visa Or https://www.gov.uk/innovator-visa Start-up or Innovator. For the innovator visa, you need £50'000 and get endorsed. The endorsement is the difficult part as your business has to be truly innovative. Endorsem...

Re: Surinder Singh and working remotely

I share @secret.simon position. When a route is closed, you may hear conflicting messages about it. The reason is that they close it for new entrants first while they keep it available to people already engaged in the route. This is to ensure smooth transition. From all appearances, British people w...

Your cousin informed the Home Office. So at this point in time, they know that your entire application is fraudulent. I for one have zero faith in the British immigration system. I would be just half surprised if your fraud is eventually rewarded by a residence card in due form. However, from the fa...

It means she needs to show that she has more family remaining in Pakistan and no family living in the UK apart from her son in jail. A sponsor in the UK can help great deal. As with all immigration applications, the universal rule is : don't create artificial situations just to benefit from a given route. Your application won't be processed by a machine that can be fooled as long as some boxes are ticked. It will be look at by a human being. And since its inception, Sur...

Is there any rule that prevents her from getting work visa? Thanks Same applies for Tier 2 or any other visa: her disability is not a concern...

Hello A misrepresentation is a misrepresentation. There is no way you can add a letter that makes it reasonable and justifiable that you lied in previous applications. There is no need to highlight what happened in past by adding a letter. Just submit your application truthfully and correctly docume...

When it comes to disabilities, the UK very "equal opportunity". Her disability won't affect her application or admission process.

However, to get a Tier 4, she needs to show that she has the money to study and the university is paid. You can't escape this.

Hello As a British you can't. If one of your partners/spouse is European, it could be possible but British people don't have the right to bring parents to the UK. In theory, there is a route: Adult Dependent Relative but the risk of refusal is very high. You need to demonstrate that both of your par...

No worries, you are welcome :) Also, because the card is a permanent residence, it would be really a bad thing to lose it. Try to get some information there what are the conditions to keep it. Sometimes it's enough to go to the country once in a while to keep that card. Permanent residences are deli...

Re: EU settlement scheme family permit for non EU parents

If there is a dependency, it doesn't cause any harm to include the documents showing that dependency. It can only strengthen the case. If the dependency doesn't exist, but the relative is close family member, the Scheme often works without showing that dependency. When that scheme started, it was a ...

But someone who came to the UK after Dec 31, 2020 won't be able to apply under the Scheme. Presumably it is going to be replaced with something else the...

This is how it works. Your wife needs to get a card in EEA country. That card has the words "residence card of a family member of a Union citizen". I don't know if in Hungary your wife would qualify for a permanent card or card valid for a specific time such as 5-year. If this is the first time she ...

Hello The Home Office are not your family or your friends. You should refrain from updating them in real time about the ups and downs of your relationship. Once you trigger a curtailment, it's a one way trip. I don't see them reversing it just because happened to change your mind after all. You prob...
