I feel, any extension should be done carefully, coz if HO says the time for ILR has been extended to 6 years, then the entire planning will go..

I would wait for an official word from HO regarding settlement before the extensions...

It should not be any problem. Because many company follows the same policy in UK. The case worker must be aware of that.
