I don't think that law has been passed as yet!

Are you getting an arranged marriage? You need to think carfefully here as you need to show that the marriage is genuine. I.e Photos & contact.

She's been here since 1979, on her passport the stamps says:

""There is at present no time limit on the holder's stay in the United Kingdom"

Thanks Lesley, found on the net that on arrival in the Uk, they do a medical i.e chest x-ray - so if your husband wants to save a bit of time, might be a good idea to get one done before hand and carry the certifacte with him.

I'm sure there was a small transitional period when the Visa age limit was lifted from 16 to 18. Not 100% sure though.
